A family business in birds for over 50 years
Vogelhandel Jado is a family business from Asten, the Netherlands, with more than half a century of experience in the bird trade. We are known for our expertise, our reliability and our love of birds.
From breeder to bird keeper, worldwide
We buy and sell birds carefully bred in the Netherlands and other parts of Europe. Our birds come from experienced and reliable breeders throughout the Netherlands. Thanks to these long-standing relationships we always have a healthy, varied, high-quality collection.
Most of our birds go to importers outside Europe. Over the years we have built a strong customer base worldwide, with shipments to Europe, the Middle East and Asia. We also sell directly to bird keepers, who come to us in Asten for a bird and for advice on their aviary.
What we specialise in
- Canaries: colour, song and type canaries
- European finches: goldfinches, major goldfinches, bullfinches, siskins and their mutations
- Tropical birds: finches, cardinals and weavers
- Parakeets: from Australia, Africa, Asia and South America, in many mutations
- Ground birds and pheasants: to order
What we stand for
Healthy birds
Our birds are checked by certified veterinarians. For export we supply valid health certificates.
Trusted breeders
We have worked with experienced, recognised breeders in the Netherlands and Europe for years, so we know where our birds come from.
By the rules
We work closely with the competent authorities. CITES papers, registration and export documents are always in order.
Personal contact
A family business: you always speak to someone who knows the birds, whether you want one canary or a full export shipment.
