What data do we process?
We only process the data you give us yourself, for example through the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp:
- name and, if applicable, company name;
- email address and phone number;
- the content of your message;
- when buying or selling birds: the data we are legally required to register, such as name and address.
Why do we process this data?
- to answer your questions and contact you;
- to handle a purchase, sale or export shipment;
- to meet legal obligations, such as registering the purchase and sale of birds and our tax records.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep data longer than necessary. Messages sent through the contact form are kept for no more than two years. Data we are legally required to keep, such as our accounts and purchase and sales register, is kept for as long as the law requires.
Do we share your data?
We never sell your data. We only share it when necessary to handle a shipment (for example with government authorities for export papers) or when required by law. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare; messages sent through the form pass through their servers.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from our own website, not from external services.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your data according to its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its use. Email us at info@vogelhandeljado.nl. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the authority in your own country.
